Somwarpet: On Wednesday March 27, a couple reportedly took their own lives at a lodge in Somwarpet. Identified as Medapurapu Raju (55) and Medapurapu Swathi (54) from Telangana, their deaths have left authorities puzzled.
According to a Deccan Herald report, although they appeared to be a couple, this connection is yet to be confirmed. Since January 4, they had been frequent visitors to the lodge, staying for a couple of days at a time.
Upon investigation, a large quantity of medication was discovered in their room, suggesting they may have been battling an illness. Sadly, they chose to end their lives by hanging from the same rope. Efforts are underway to locate their relatives, while the investigation remains ongoing.
