Virajpet: Over 20 students from Triveni School narrowly escaped serious harm in a vehicular accident that occurred in front of the Agriculture Department in Gandhinagar, Virajpet on Wednesday.
The incident unfolded when the bus driver, reportedly incapacitated by sudden health issues, lost control of the vehicle, leading to a collision with both a tractor and a car. Fortunately, no fatalities were reported, but several students sustained minor injuries.
Local police officials confirmed that all the injured students were admitted to the government hospital in Virajpet. Medical staff at the hospital reported that the injuries were not life-threatening, and all the students are expected to make a full recovery.
The police are continuing their investigation into the accident to ensure all safety protocols were followed.
