Kodagu Native Jeeth Devaiah Appointed High Performance Director of Bhutan Football Federation

Bengaluru: Kulletira Jeeth Devaiah, a native of Kodagu, has been appointed as the High Performance Director by the Bhutan Football Federation.
Devaiah said that he has over two decades of experience in elite sports performance and nearly 29 years in sports administration, with extensive expertise in high-performance systems, athlete development, and sports science.

“I am a strength and conditioning specialist and have previously worked with several professional teams and organisations across different sports, including football, cricket and hockey. My international exposure includes a stint as a strength and conditioning coach with Esbjerg FC in Denmark. I have also worked with Indian Premier League franchises Rajasthan Royals and Delhi Daredevils (now Delhi Capitals),” he said.
Devaiah has also been associated with Indian Railways’ sports administration for nearly three decades, where he served as Director of Sports, Fitness, and Wellness with South Western Railway(SWR). According to him, his work involved developing athlete performance programmes, managing sports operations, and improving organisational efficiency.
