Rashmika Mandanna Donates ₹10 Lakh to Kerala CMDRF Amid Wayanad Landslide Tragedy

Hyderbad: In response to the catastrophic landslides in Wayanad, Kerala, which have resulted in over 250 fatalities, acclaimed actress Rashmika Mandanna, a native of Kodagu, has generously contributed ₹10 lakh to the Kerala Chief Minister's Disaster Relief Fund (CMDRF), according to The Week report.


Hailing from Virajpet in Kodagu, Rashmika Mandanna made her acting debut with the film Kirik Party in 2016. She has since carved out a successful career across Kannada, Telugu, and Hindi cinema, working with notable stars such as Rakshith Shetty, Late Puneeth Rajkumar, Amitabh Bachchan, and Allu Arjun. 


Currently, she is gearing up for the much-anticipated release of Pushpa 2: The Rule, in which she stars opposite Allu Arjun. Her most recent appearance was in the 2023 hit Animal alongside Ranbir Kapoor.


As the situation in Wayanad continues to unfold, the death toll has risen to 277, with more than 200 individuals injured as of Thursday morning. The devastating landslides in the Meppadi region have left 240 people still unaccounted for, while over 1,500 have been rescued, according to Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan.
