Pemmanda A. Suraj Assumes Charge as Madikeri's New DySP

Madikeri: Pemmanda A. Suraj officially assumed charge as the Deputy Superintendent of Police (DySP) for the Madikeri sub-division in Kodagu district on 20 January.
A native of Ponnampet taluk in Kodagu, Suraj brings extensive experience to his new role. Before this assignment, he served as the Deputy Superintendent in the Intelligence Department of Chamarajanagar district, where he gained valuable expertise in handling sensitive operations.
Suraj’s appointment has been welcomed by the residents of Kodagu, who are hopeful that his familiarity with the district and its unique challenges will contribute to effective policing. The Madikeri sub-division, known for its hilly terrain and rich biodiversity, poses specific administrative challenges that require strategic planning and execution.
With his experience and local roots, DySP Pemmanda A. Suraj’s leadership is expected to enhance law enforcement and foster a secure environment in the district.
