Karnataka Youth Congress Leader Mohammed Haris Nalapad to Marry in Kodagu

According to sources, the Nikah ceremony(Sacred religious marriage ceremony in Islam) is scheduled to take place at around noon on August 16 at the resort.

Madikeri/Bengaluru: Karnataka Youth Congress president Mohammed Haris Nalapad, son of Shanti Nagar MLA N.A. Haris, is set to get married in Kodagu, with the wedding celebrations scheduled to be held from August 15 to 20 at a private resort in Mekeri near Madikeri.

According to sources, the Nikah ceremony(Sacred religious marriage ceremony in Islam) is scheduled to take place at around noon on August 16 at the resort. Karnataka Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar is expected to attend the ceremony.

Nalapad is reportedly entering into marriage for the second time. He is set to marry the third daughter of S.I. Muneer, a Congress leader from Kodagu who is associated with the Kodagu District Congress Committee.

The wedding is expected to bring together several prominent political and film personalities. Apart from Shivakumar, Kannada film personalities, including actors Sudeep and Yash, are expected to attend the ceremony, according to sources.

Several Congress leaders from Kodagu are also expected to be present. These include Virajpet MLA A.S. Ponnanna, Madikeri MLA Mantar Gowda and other local party leaders.

The wedding celebrations are expected to continue over several days at the private resort in Mekeri, with guests from political and entertainment circles likely to attend the functions.
