International Coffee Day to be Celebrated in Bengaluru on October 1
Bengaluru: The Coffee Board of India, under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, will celebrate International Coffee Day 2026 in Bengaluru on October 1, alongside Agricon HortiConnect.
The event will be held at Parijata Hall, Bengaluru International Exhibition Centre (BIEC), from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Coffee Board Chairman M.J. Dinesh will attend the programme, according to a release by Ministry of Commerce & Industry.
The celebration will feature a session on INDICOFS (India Coffee Sustainability Standard Scheme), aimed at highlighting sustainability standards in the coffee sector.
A fireside chat involving coffee growers, roasters and café entrepreneurs will also be held, providing an opportunity to discuss developments and experiences across the coffee value chain.
The Coffee Board will also launch new packaging for India’s GI-registered coffees under the “India Coffee” brand, release stated.
A live brew bar will be set up at the venue, where visitors can sample coffee for free and get a hands-on experience of different brewing methods.
