Madikeri: The Coffee Board of India is set to conduct a comprehensive training programme on September 27 at the Coffee Research Sub Station (CRSS) in Chettalli, Kodagu. The event, titled "Training on Brand Building, GI User Registration, EUDR and India Coffee App," aims to provide valuable insights to coffee growers and exporters.
According to officials from the Coffee Board, the programme will cover key aspects of building a coffee brand, registering estates for Geographical Indication (GI), and exporting coffee, all while ensuring compliance with the European Union Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) through the India Coffee App.
The Board’s statement highlighted the expertise of the panel, which includes Dr. Pradeepa Babu B. N., Dr. Ramya, and Sony Samal. "Our panel of experts brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the table," said the Coffee Board, underscoring the value of the training for participants looking to expand their coffee business on both domestic and international fronts.
The programme is tailored to coffee estate owners and stakeholders involved in branding, exporting, and regulatory compliance. It is expected to enhance participants' ability to build a strong brand identity and navigate the legalities of GI registration, while also addressing the requirements of the stringent EUDR regulations.
