Accident Between Bus and Jeep on Virajpet–Gonikoppal Road in Kodagu

According to eyewitnesses, the Annappaswamy bus was travelling from Virajpet when a jeep coming from Mysuru, laden with chickens, rammed into it at the curve.

Virajpet: A collision between a private bus and a pickup jeep carrying chickens caused a scare on the Virajpet–Gonikoppal main road on Monday morning. The accident took place near Bittangala, at the curve leading towards B Shettigeri.

According to eyewitnesses, the Annappaswamy bus was travelling from Virajpet when a jeep coming from Mysuru, laden with chickens, rammed into it at the curve. The impact pushed the jeep off the road, leaving it completely damaged. Fortunately, the driver and another person travelling in the vehicle escaped unhurt, despite the severe damage.
