8-Year-Old Boy Dies After Bike Accident In Virajpet, Kodagu

Virajpet: An eight-year-old boy died after being hit by a motorcycle in Nalvathoklu village near Virajpet on Wednesday. The victim has been identified as Mohammed Afnas, son of D.A. Haneef, a resident of the same village, according to a Prajavani report.

The tragic incident occurred near his house when a motorbike struck him. Afnas was a Class 3 student at a private school in Virajpet. He was immediately rushed to the Virajpet government hospital and later referred to Mangaluru for further treatment. However, he succumbed to his injuries.

Virajpet Rural Police have registered a case and are investigating the incident.
