Three youths allegedly abusing PM Narendra Modi arrested in Kodagu

Madikeri: Three youths in Madikeri were arrested after a video allegedly showing them using abusive language and insulting Prime Minister Narendra Modi went viral on social media.
The Kodagu police registered a suo motu case following widespread public outrage, according to Channel Coorg/Coorg Express report.
The arrested have been identified as Fahad M.E. (31), a resident of Rani Pete, Madikeri; Basil M.H. (29) of Tyagaraj Colony; and Sameer M.M. (31), also from Tyagaraj Colony in Madikeri.
In the circulated video which The Kodagu Express could not independently verify, Fahad M.E. is allegedly seen using vulgar and offensive language directed at the Prime Minister. The clip sparked strong reactions online, with several viewers demanding immediate action against the trio.
Police said they initiated the case suo motu after the video began circulating widely. All three accused were taken into custody, and further investigation is in progress.
