Somwarpet: The Kodagu district police have arrested three women from Maharashtra on charges of stealing gold jewellery from a shop in Suntikoppa town. The accused have been identified as Alpana (37), Babita (47) and Pooja (29).

According to the police, the incident took place on September 14 when the trio visited a jewellery store in Suntikoppa, posing as customers interested in purchasing ornaments.
