Bengaluru: Tata Starbucks — a 50:50 joint venture between Seattle-based Starbucks Coffee Company and Tata Consumer Products Limited has entered the estate-exclusive, single-origin coffee segment by introducing three speciality coffees sourced from the Nullore, Margolly, and Karadibetta estates in Karnataka’s Kodagu district.
Mitali Maheshwari, head of product & marketing, Tata Starbucks, said, “We are proud to share the distinct flavours and craftsmanship of Kodagu through these iconic estates that have been harvested for the first time for Tata Starbucks. Each single origin coffee in this range reflects its unique terroir, biodiversity, and the passion of its farmers, brought to life in every cup.”

The company stated that these exclusive single-origin coffees will now be part of Starbucks’ global portfolio, which already features selections from coffee-growing regions across Africa, Asia Pacific, and Latin America.
“This launch marks a new chapter in Tata Starbucks journey to honor India’s rich coffee heritage. Following the success of the Starbucks® India Estates Blend, the new single-origin range dives deeper into the terroir and craftsmanship of individual estates—each with its own flavor profile, biodiversity, and legacy,” Starbucks stated in its release on the website.
