Ramarajan Transferred, Bindu Mani, Daughter of KSRP Head Constable, Appointed Kodagu SP

Bengaluru: The Karnataka government on Wednesday ordered the transfer of Kodagu Superintendent of Police(SP) Ramarajan and appointed R.N. Bindu Mani as the new SP of the district.
According to the official order issued by the State government, Ramarajan, who was serving as the Superintendent of Police of Kodagu district, has been transferred to Belagavi district.
Following the vacancy created by Mr. Ramarajan’s transfer, R.N. Bindu Mani has been posted as the new Superintendent of Police of Kodagu. The appointment comes as part of a routine administrative reshuffle carried out by the government.

Bindu Mani is presently serving as the Deputy Commissioner of Police (Law and Order) in Mysuru city. A native of Bengaluru, she is a 2021-batch Indian Police Service (IPS) officer of the Karnataka cadre. Prior to her posting in Mysuru, she had served as Superintendent of Police, Intelligence-1, Bengaluru.
Bindu Mani, is a daughter of Karnataka State Reserve Police(KSRP) head constable, who got 468th rank in civil service examination in her first attempt.
