Power Outage in Parts of Madikeri on April 22 Due to Emergency Maintenance

MADIKERI: The Chamundeshwari Electricity Supply Corporation (CESCOM) has announced a scheduled power outage in parts of Madikeri on Monday, April 22, to carry out emergency maintenance work at the 66/11 KV substation.
According to a press release from CESCOM, the power supply will be disconnected between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. as a precautionary measure to ensure the safety and efficiency of the maintenance work.
Several localities are expected to be affected by the outage. These include Ranipet, Convent Junction, the area behind ITI College, T John Layout, and surrounding neighbourhoods. Residents and businesses in these areas have been advised to make necessary arrangements in advance to avoid inconvenience during the seven-hour disruption.

CESCOM officials have stated that the maintenance work is essential to ensure reliable electricity supply in the future. Consumers may contact the local CESCOM office for any further assistance or clarification. The electricity supply is expected to be restored immediately after the completion of maintenance activities.
