PIN Code Revised for Kodagu Postal Division Offices

Madikeri: The Department of Posts has revised the PIN codes of several post offices under the Kodagu Postal Division as part of administrative reforms aimed at strengthening the efficiency of the mail delivery system.
According to a press release issued by the Superintendent of Posts, Kodagu Division, the changes have been implemented to streamline postal administration and ensure smoother handling and distribution of mail across the district, as reported in Kodagu News.
The revision covers areas under the Madikeri Head Post Office (571201), including regions falling within its jurisdiction. Under the Vidyanagar Sub Post Office (571202), the affected branch offices include Galibeedu, Kalooru and K. Nidugane.
Similarly, under the Madikeri D.O.C Sub Post Office (571203), the branch offices where the PIN code has been revised are Aravathoklu (Madikeri), Avandur, Bettageri, Biligeri, Boikeri, Cherambane, Heravanadu, Kandanakolli, Kaggodlu, Kottur, Koynad, Made, Makkandur and Talathmane.
Postal authorities stated that the move is intended to improve administrative coordination and enhance the overall efficiency of mail delivery services in Kodagu district.
