KSRTC to Launch New Rajahamsa Bus Service Between Bengaluru and Bhagamandala from October 1

According to a press note issued by KSRTC’s Bengaluru Central Division, the service is being introduced for the convenience of passengers travelling between Bengaluru and Kodagu.

Bengaluru: The Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) will introduce a new Rajahamsa bus service between Bengaluru and Bhagamandala in Kodagu district from October 1, 2026.

According to a press release issued by KSRTC’s Bengaluru Central Division, the service is being introduced for the convenience of passengers travelling between Bengaluru and Kodagu. The bus will operate from Shantinagar Bus Stand in Bengaluru to Bhagamandala via Mysuru, Hunsur, Kushalnagar, Madikeri and Karagunda.

The bus will depart from Bengaluru’s Shantinagar Bus Stand at 10.30 p.m. and reach Mysuru Road Bus Stand at 11.16 p.m. It is scheduled to arrive in Madikeri at 5.15 a.m. and reach Bhagamandala at 6.15 a.m. the following morning.

On the return journey, the Rajahamsa service will leave Bhagamandala at 8.30 p.m. and reach Madikeri at 10 p.m. It will arrive at Bengaluru’s Mysuru Road Bus Stand at 4 a.m. before terminating at Shantinagar Bus Stand at 4.30 a.m.

KSRTC has also announced the fares for the new service. The adult fare from Bengaluru to Madikeri has been fixed at ₹545, while the fare for children is ₹296. For passengers travelling from Bengaluru to Bhagamandala, the adult fare will be ₹608, while the child fare will be ₹328.
