Kodagu Boy Wins Champion Trophy at National Abacus Competition in Delhi

Anvith S. wins champion trophy at national Brainobrain competition

New Delhi/Madikeri: Bringing pride to Kodagu on the national stage, nine-year-old Anvith S. from Madikeri won the Champion Trophy in the junior category at the 47th National Brainobrain Abacus Competition held at the Thyagaraj Stadium in New Delhi.

More than 2,000 children from across India participated in the prestigious national-level competition. Anvith’s achievement was hailed as a proud moment for Kodagu, as he emerged victorious among participants from various States.

Anvith is being trained by Mapangada Kavitha Karumbaiah at the Brainobrain Madikeri Centre. He received the Champion Trophy from Arul Subramanian, Director Technical of Brainobrain, and Anand Subramanian, Managing Director of Brainobrain.

A student of Class 4 at BGS Public School, Made, Anvith is the son of Srinivas V., a lecturer at Made Maheshwara P.U. College, and Pavithra M.N., an employee in the National Highway Department.

Speaking about the achievement, trainer Kavitha Karumbaiah credited Anvith’s determination and hard work, along with the constant encouragement and support from his parents and family.

Anvith has earlier secured the Gold Topper Medal at the State-level competition and won Champion Trophies at National-level competitions in Chennai. He has also emerged champion at an international competition held in Dubai and won the International Online Competition title.
