Mysuru: Kodagu native Nellira Ravi Kariappa has secured first place in the 3rd Category at the prestigious Mysuru Dasara Shree 2025 bodybuilding competition, held as part of the annual Dasara festivities in Mysuru.
The event, which attracts participants from across Karnataka, is regarded as a major platform for showcasing fitness and bodybuilding talent. Ravi Kariappa’s win marks a proud moment for Kodagu, adding to the district’s growing list of achievements in sports and physical fitness.
Speaking after his victory, Kariappa credited his coach Jairaj Shetty for the guidance and rigorous training that helped him prepare for the contest.
The bodybuilding contest remains a highlight of the Mysuru Dasara cultural and sporting events, drawing large crowds each year.
