Gun Attack on Brothers in Hudikeri Village in Kodagu, Case Registered

According to police sources, the alleged assailant, Balera Tims, opened fire on his brothers following a family dispute.

Ponnampet: In a shocking incident reported from Hudikeri village in Ponnampet taluk of Kodagu district, two brothers sustained injuries after being shot at by their own sibling on Monday. The injured have been identified as Roshan and Sachin.

According to police sources, the alleged assailant, Balera Tims, opened fire on his brothers following a family dispute. The exact motive behind the attack is yet to be ascertained.

Immediately after the shooting, the injured brothers were rushed to a nearby private hospital for emergency treatment. Doctors confirmed that both Roshan and Sachin had escaped life-threatening injuries. After initial care, they were shifted to Mysuru for advanced treatment and observation.

The Srimangala police have registered a case and launched an investigation.
