Mysuru: Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah stated that the Congress party was confident of winning the Mysuru-Kodagu Lok Sabha constituencies among the 20 seats in Karnataka in the upcoming elections.
Speaking at a meeting comprising Ministers, former Ministers, legislators, former legislators, district-level leaders, Board Chairpersons, and block-level leaders of the Congress from Mysuru, Kodagu, and Chamarajanagar districts in anticipation of the upcoming Lok Sabha polls, Mr. Siddaramaiah emphasized that the Mysuru-Kodagu and Chamarajanagar Lok Sabha constituencies have historically been strongholds of the Congress party. He confidently asserted that both constituencies would revert to the party in the forthcoming elections.
The surveys conducted by the Congress indicated that the party was poised to secure victory in 20 seats, including Mysuru-Kodagu and Chamarajanagar. Consequently, he called upon party members to work together cohesively to ensure an unprecedented triumph for the Congress.
In attendance at the event were Social Welfare Minister H.C. Mahadevappa, Animal Husbandry Minister K. Venkatesh, KPCC Working President Tanveer Sait, Vice Chairperson of the Guarantee Schemes Implementation Committee Pushpa Amarnath, former MLA Yathindra, Congress candidate for the Mysuru Lok Sabha constituency M. Lakshman, Virajpet MLA AS Ponnanna, Madikeri MLA Mantar Gowda, and several others.
