Bengaluru Tourist Alleges Assault at Kodagu Resort, Files Complaint After 25 Days

Napoklu: A tourist from Bengaluru has alleged that they were assaulted at a resort in Napoklu, Kodagu, and has filed a complaint via email with the District Superintendent of Police, urging action 25 days after the incident.

The alleged assault took place on November 2 at Skylark Resort in Napoklu. Vinil Jain, the complainant, claimed that the resort owner and staff attacked him and his family members during their stay. Jain recently submitted his complaint to both the District Superintendent of Police and the Deputy Commissioner, officials confirmed.

In his complaint, Jain specifically accused the resort owner, Manu Muthappa, of involvement in the alleged assault. The attack allegedly targeted three couples and five children, according to complaint.

A video recording of the incident has also been provided as evidence. Police officials said they will look into the matter.

Meanwhile, Skylark Resort has yet to respond to these allegations. The article will be updated if we receive a response from Skylark Resort.
