Outstanding Performance by Madikeri Centre in the the National Level Brainobrain Competition

Madikeri: In the recently held National Level Brainobrain Abacus Competition, held at the Chennai Trade Centre, Chennai, Over 8,500 Children, from over 400 Centres from all over India participated. Madikeri centre, headed by Mapangada Kavitha Karumbaiah participated with 34 children, and eventually won 21 Champion Trophies, 9 Gold Topper Medals and 4 Silver Topper Medals, getting a 100% result.

Kavitha Karumbaiah attributed the entire credit to the children, who performed in that 3 minutes and the parents, who took the initiative to take the children to Chennai.

The occasion was graced by Anand Subramanian (M.D. of Brainobrain International), Arul Subramanian (Director Technical), All the Master Franchisees of Various States, Franchisees and Faculties.

Brainobrain has been honoured with the Outstanding Contribution to Child Development and Education Award, at the Rising Bharat Heroes event by Ms Jaya Prada, former Member of Rajya Sabha.

Brainobrain was also honoured with the Education Excellence Award in Child Skill Development at the India Brand Icon Awards and Conference by former Indian Cricketer Mr. Sunil Gavaskar.

Also in the recently held State Level Brainobrain Abacus Competition, held at Dr. Babu Jagajeevan Ram, Research Institute Bangalore,over 2,000 children from over 80 centre competed from all over Karnataka and a few Gulf countries. Madikeri Centre headed by Mapangada Kavitha Karumbaiah, participated with 50 children and eventually won 24 Champion Trophies; 16 Gold Topper Medals and 10 Silver Topper Medals, getting a 100% result.

Kavitha Karumbaiah won the 'Best Faculty' and 'Best Franchisee' Award.

Brainobrain is a Skill development programme which takes the children to greater heights of accuracy, confidence, concentration and multitasking skills. The Children are required to do around 60-75 complex sums in just 3 minutes time, which requires tremendous speed, accuracy and mental agility .

The Gold Topper Medals were won by Diya Y. B., Jeshwitha Thangamma A.P., Rushali P. J., Kanisha Sunith Kumar., Kushan Devappa Y. D., Riyanka M., Nidhi R Anveker., Sakshath P. Gowda. and B.Krishvin Aadvik.;

The Silver Topper Medals were won by Nimshi K. M., Pariksha A. L.,Joanna Madtha and Pranava.
