Mobile Passport Seva Van to Visit Madikeri From April 8 to 10

According to a statement issued by the Regional Passport Office in Bengaluru, the mobile facility will be stationed at Gandhi Bhavana in Madikeri.

Madikeri: Madikeri will host a Mobile Passport Seva van for three days from April 8 to 10, enabling residents of Kodagu district to access passport-related services locally.

According to a statement issued by the Regional Passport Office in Bengaluru, the mobile facility will be stationed at Gandhi Bhavana in Madikeri. The initiative, introduced by the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), aims to extend passport services to regions with limited access by bringing essential procedures closer to applicants’ residences.

Through this service, applicants can complete key formalities such as document verification and submission of biometric details without having to travel to distant passport offices.

Individuals seeking to avail of the facility must register and schedule an appointment through the Passport Seva portal under the normal application category. After completing the payment process, applicants are required to choose the ‘mobile van’ option while booking their appointment slot.
