Minor Grandson Murders Grandmother in Virajpet

Virajpet: In a heart-wrenching incident in a village within the Virajpet taluk, a young boy has been accused of murdering his grandmother. The deceased, Janaki, aged 48, was allegedly killed by her 15-year-old grandson.

According to a report from DH, the minor, under the influence of alcohol, became embroiled in a heated argument with his grandmother. In a fit of rage, he struck her with a wooden log, resulting in her death. 

Authorities have registered a case at the Virajpet town police station, and investigations are currently underway to determine the full circumstances surrounding this tragic event.
