Bengaluru: Passengers travelling on Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation’s (KSRTC) Flybus services from Madikeri can soon enjoy a complimentary snack experience similar to that offered on flights. From Wednesday, November 12, the corporation will begin distributing light snack kits featuring popular Nandini products on all Flybus routes.
Transport Minister Ramalinga Reddy will formally launch the initiative at Terminal 2 of Kempegowda International Airport. Officials said the move is aimed at offering passengers a premium, flight-like travel experience while simultaneously promoting the Nandini brand, known for its dairy products.
The Flybus, a high-end airport shuttle service, connects Kempegowda International Airport in Bengaluru with major cities such as Madikeri, Mysuru, Mangaluru, Madikeri, Manipal, Udupi, and Kundapur.
Earlier, KSRTC provided water bottles to passengers on its luxury services. However, in October 2019, the corporation discontinued the use of single-use plastic bottles.
