Madikeri: Pan-India actor Rashmika Mandanna has quietly added another remarkable milestone to her career, emerging as the highest income tax payer in Kodagu district, even as she continues to deliver box-office successes across industries.

According to a report by Moneycontrol, Rashmika files her income tax returns through Kodagu under a Limited Liability Partnership. During the current financial year, she has reportedly paid ₹4.69 crore in income tax so far, spread across three installments. With one more quarter remaining, the final payment is expected by March, a move that has firmly placed her at the top of Kodagu’s taxpayer list. The figures underline not only her soaring earnings but also a strong record of financial compliance.

From her early beginnings in Kannada cinema, Rashmika has evolved into one of the most sought-after stars in the country, with an active presence in Kannada, Telugu, Tamil and Hindi films. The report notes that she now commands a fee of around ₹9 to ₹10 crore per film. Her estimated net worth is said to be close to ₹45 crore, driven by a combination of film projects and premium brand endorsements.

Beyond films, Rashmika has made significant real estate investments. She owns a sprawling bungalow in Virajpet, Kodagu, an upscale residence in Bengaluru valued at around ₹8 crore, and properties across Coorg, Hyderabad and Goa. As her Bollywood commitments grow, she has also purchased a luxury apartment at Ahuja Towers in Worli, Mumbai, reducing her dependence on extended hotel stays, the report states.

Her rise from small-town roots to national prominence continues to resonate strongly in Kodagu, where her success is now reflected not just on screen, but also in the district’s tax records.
