A trilingual Kodava dictionary ‘Moopaaje Nighant' to be released on May 14

Virajpet: Machamada Lala Kuttappa's 'Moopaaje Nighant,' a comprehensive trilingual dictionary encompassing Kannada, English, and Kodava languages, is poised to be a valuable resource for language enthusiasts to be released on May 14.

With over 17,000 words, this dictionary aims to aid those familiar with Kannada and English in understanding the nuances of the Kodava language, also known as Kodava thakk.

Published by the Tribal Culture Study Centre under the Kodavaame initiative, 'Moopaaje Nighant' is scheduled for release on May 14, at Kodava Samaja, Virajpet. The book is currently available for pre-order on Coorgshoppe for ₹750.00 plus shipping charges.
