Mr MP, please don't exploit the innocence of Codavas. Don’t play with our allegiance to the party and nation for your dirty Political expediency. We are true patriots. The term “Codava” has always been synonymous to Patriotism, but that doesn’t mean we should stand by you, tolerating your wrong doings. Our blind patriotism is not sanctioned for your misdeeds.
You played with our "Sacrament" Gun exemption privilige, for which they are shelling out 40 lakhs per hearing as Lawyer fees. A retired SSC officer can hardly afford such a stupendous sum of fee for his Advocate in SC, so I wonder who really paying for this? Now that, is a billion dollar question.
You stalled our ethnographic study, stalled us with regard to the subject of Codavas thakk inclusion in the 8th Schedule, and when PVT member Bill was moved by B K Hariprasad and came for discussion in the Parliament you absconded.
You were deliberately absent in the election in Madikeri CMC a few years ago only to facilitate the opposition candidate of your faith.
You keep praising our military geniuses, Field Marshal Cariappa and Gen KS Thimmaiah, but when the question comes to the conferring of Bharat Ratna to them, you quietly, smartly and conveniently escape.
Whenever Codavas ask for their rights, by hook or crook they are defeated and nullified by giving some silly excuse.
Now you are saying that Coorg by Race means the entire people of Coorg. According to your narrative, those who entered in through voter IDs, including Rohingyas, Assamese, and Bengalis are also Coorg by Race.
Mr MP, if you’re not aware, mere hoodwinking and praising Codavas will not protect their identity.
Will you give your portion of reservation to the entire state populace? Will you consider them as your community members? Will you dare to accomodate all those people living in old Mysore in to your community’s Development Board established by the then Govt with the annual grant of Tax payers money of Rs 500 crore per year? Can you facilitate "Irula tribes" (originally who came from Tamilnadu and settled in Ramanagaram)to contest in your community’s bastion Ramanagaram, who made their home in Ramanagaram?
Opponents are eradicated using two types of War tactics/Modus operandi- One is confronting them with a straight fight. Another one is covert confrontation through praising them abnormally.
In our case you are using covert confrontation by praising and adoring Codavas and buttering them, licking everything that even remotely resembles a butt. Gullible Codavas think that we are the greatest of the great people of this planet, hence we should not ask any rights for ourselves; Though seeking empowerment is a hallmark of a welfare State. Demanding Constitutional rights is a sin and below for our dignity is what they are conditioned to believe. This is psychological warfare, conducted to weaken the brains/ minds of our people. This covert operation is very systematically carried out by this MP with regard to Codavas.
Now our people will follow him like castrated Oxen. The MP behaves like a Headmaster. Whenever he visits Coorg he honing his one band recorded radio and an old play about praising Codavas and their Chivalry and beauty of Codavathis and taste of Codava cuisine. He has systematically cultivated this habit, of emotional blackmail theory and it works, because we Codavas don’t use our intellect potential.
