Rescue efforts are ongoing as search teams look for two more people who are feared to be trapped under the debris. The National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) has been deployed to the site and is spearheading the rescue operations.

One individual who suffered a head injury was promptly transported to a hospital in Mysuru for further medical attention. According to Tirumurugan, the building began to collapse suddenly, but most patrons and staff managed to escape in time. However, the possibility of additional victims trapped under the wreckage has prompted the continuation of rescue efforts.

Local authorities have temporarily closed the Gonikoppa-Mysuru road to facilitate the rescue operations. Virajpet MLA A.S. Ponnanna has been actively involved, obtaining updates from the Deputy Commissioner and the Superintendent of Police regarding the ongoing rescue mission. He has also directed the NDRF team to intensify their efforts on-site.
