Newborn Abandoned in Kodagu Plantation House, Rescued by Napoklu Police

Napoklu: A newborn girl was discovered abandoned inside an unoccupied house in Ballamavatti Peruru village, within Napoklu police station limits, on Saturday night.


The infant, estimated to be just a few hours old, was found wrapped in a cloth and left unattended, with ants crawling around her. Upon learning of the situation, Napoklu police arrived at the scene and swiftly moved the baby to Napoklu Community Health Centre for immediate care. She was later shifted to the district hospital in Madikeri for further medical attention.


Authorities have launched an investigation to identify the child’s parents or guardians. Anyone with relevant information is urged to contact Napoklu police station at 9480804948.
