Central Coffee Research Institute Invites Applications for Diploma in Coffee Estate Management

Chikkamagaluru: The two-year diploma is designed to equip students with scientific knowledge and practical skills required for coffee cultivation, quality evaluation, estate management, and marketing.
According to the notification, candidates who have passed Class 12 are eligible to apply. Applicants should be between 18 and 35 years of age, with a relaxation of five years for SC/ST candidates. The course will be conducted in English.
The programme fee is ₹25,000 per year for general candidates and ₹20,000 per year for SC/ST/EWS candidates. An instalment payment facility is also available.
Students admitted to the course will receive practical field exposure as part of the curriculum. During the first year, candidates belonging to SC/ST/EWS categories will receive a monthly stipend of ₹10,000, while all candidates will be eligible for the stipend in the second year. Free accommodation will be provided at CCRI and its research stations.
Only 10 seats are available for the programme, with preference given to candidates from coffee-growing regions. Successful candidates will receive a diploma certificate issued by the Coffee Board.
Interested applicants can download the application form from coffeeboard.gov.in and submit the completed form with the required documents to the Director of Research, Central Coffee Research Institute, Coffee Research Station, Chikkamagaluru District – 577117, Karnataka.
The last date to submit applications is July 31, 2026.
